Places to Visit in Post Falls, ID.

Treaty Rock Park

This seemingly hidden 4 acre park is located in the heart of Post Falls just off of N. Compton Street (North of I-90 and South of Seltice Way) and sits on Treaty Rock Way. The entrance to the parking lot is directly across the street from Perfection Tire & Auto Repair. Once on the main trail, you’re taken to the historical monument where the treaty of Frederick Post and the Coeur d’Alene Tribe supposedly took place in 1871. Enjoy a hike, or a family picnic. While you’re here it’s easy to forget that you’re still closer than ever to all the amenities Post Falls has to offer.

Q'emiln Park

Falls Park

This is our family’s favorite park in Post Falls because of its main water feature, the dam. In the Spring the dam runs at its prime. If you’ve never been to Post Falls, this is a must-stop because there’s nothing else like it around. The roaring sound of the powerful water pouring out of the dam is something that can actually be felt, and the cool mist is refreshing on a hot day. Definitely worth bringing the family for fishing, picnics or just a quick scenic, refreshing stop along your route.

Some Of Our Favorite Places To Eat In Post Falls

Capones- This place is always busy so try and snag a table outside (if it’s warm) if you’re bringing a date or your family as it can get loud sitting inside. If the tables outside are taken and you do get stuck sitting inside though, don’t worry, you’re still in for a great experience. Sometimes there can be a wait but again, its well worth it. Delicious pizza and sandwiches, American food at its best, sports memorabilia everywhere, and just a fun atmosphere. Huge variety of domestic and imported beer on tap, and probably offers patrons the largest selection of beer brewed and distributed locally. Easily the best pizza that Post Falls has to offer.

White House Grill– On a busy night and even from several blocks away, you can literally smell the delicious aroma of garlic pouring out of this romantic, mediterranean style restaurant. The rather small menu makes the ordering decision easy for you and your date. The staff is one of the most personable you’ll experience in Post Falls, you’ll see what I mean.

Golden Dragon- The only Chinese restaurant in Post Falls makes this one our favorite Chinese restaurant here. The egg-flower soup can’t be beat and the food always arrives at our table hot and fresh. Our family has been coming here for years and the Golden Dragon never disappoints.
